FAQ

Where is Cascades Bay Wines?

Located on the beautiful island of lutruwita (Tasmania), we respectfully acknowledge the Pydairrerme people as the Traditional Owners of the turrakana (Tasman Peninsula) lands, seas and waterways.

Cascades Bay, is a small bay forming a part of the much larger Norfolk Bay. We're situated at Shelly Beach Road in Koonya at latitude -43.05S and longitude 147.825E.

Where can I buy (or try) Cascades Bay Wines?

You can buy online through our store.

Due to liquor licencing, tastings onsite are not yet possible. To try our wines, please visit us at one of the local markets. Keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook for our next Market stall.

If you're on the turrakana/ Tasman Peninsula, you can call us to purchase direct from the vineyard. Our wine is also available for sale at the Port Arthur Historic Site.

How big is the vineyard?

Being a boutique vineyard our 1 hectare planting has 2700 vines. We prefer quality over quantity.

Are Cascades Bay wines environmentally friendly?

Yes... we use natural farming practices.

We don't use any nasty chemicals (not even weed-killer), use organically approved sprays and we hand weed and mow, while our Babydoll Southdown sheep help to keep our grass down and provide natural manure. Our free range chickens and guinea fowl help with pest control and weeding too!
